New Puppy

New Puppy

As I wake up on christmas morning the snow falls lightly. It is a chilly morning as I walk down the stairs my eyes open wide. I see a cute puppy just sitting there.”Oh my gosh this is amazing”I screamed. At first the puppy is frightened and tries to get away.”Hmmm what can I name him”I say.”Ohhh maybe Buddie”I say excitedly. Buddie loved his new owner after a couple of weeks. One day buddie was walking around outside and fell in the snow.He was lost and we all went to find him. When we found him he was curled up in a ball shivering. We took him to the vet and he stayed there for three weeks. We were so worried. The weeks passed by slowly we sat there lots of things took my mind off him but I still missed him. When he came back he was so much better.I was so happy to see him.But he was sick and we had to be careful`

Matariki is a time to remember the people you have lost.

If the Matariki stars are hard to see it means the next year will be very cold.

Also if the stars are hard to see it means it is a bad time to grow crops.

Technolgy

Every second Thursday the year 7&8s go to a programme called Technology at the Grey mouth High School. We get split into two groups and in each group we have two classes. In my group the classes that we are doing are Wood Work & Digital Technology. I will be sharing about Wood Work & what I did this Thursday.

First when we get to the High School we get into our groups & go to our classes. For this term we are making a Passive Amplifier from wood. This week we finally got to go to the workshop. When we were in the workshop for the first time we learned about health & safety. When that finished we went back to class & did a test about the health & safety that we learned. After our test we went back to the workshop.
